The Owl and The Old Man

The owl walks with me,
No word and silently,
I wish to give it flight,
Strange it might seem in daylight.

The old man resides,
Sees the vulture eyes,
He reaches for some water,
Holier than thou said the chatter.

The moment of ignorance,
Turned itself over once,
Saw in itself a profound hope,
Gripped hard at the oiled rope.

The vagabond hurt his pride,
Remark had dented his hide,
So came the chance to break,
It laughed and his life, wrecked.

I am

I am the sunshine in your eyes,
I am the content in your smile,
I am the morning that fills your life,
I am the touch that brings a sigh,
I am the freedom in your fight,
I am the wind beneath your wing
I am the voice in your cry
I am the will in your desolate heart
I am hope, I am life, I am.

If You Could Remember

If your heart was searching
All the times I have stayed away
Remember loneliness was your best friend

If your heart was waiting
For all the things I didn’t give
Remember needing was only a feeling

If your heart was breaking
For all the pain I caused you
Remember that you found your soul

If your heart was choking
From all my idiosyncrasies
Remember the freedom you realized

If your heart was reaching out
For all that was unsaid
Remember you screamed atop a mountain

If your heart is numb
From all the chaos around you
Remember the peace you felt

If I now find you gone
For all that I didn’t do
Your love will remain with me forever

Simple Life

Another release,
and page 3 freaks

Another hype,
to stay alive

Another game,
we loose, what a shame

Another cry,
I won’t heed tonight

Another smile,
on a content guile

Another touch,
I don’t care that much

Another tear,
the face of fear

Another dream,
another mockery

Another thirst,
an indecent lust

Another drop,
please, for my crop

Another one,
bites the dust

Another scream,
a new life begins

Another me,
lost in the melee
